MT4 has certain limitations, and you may have better environment on another one for manual trading. If you are in Australia and wish to trade from your home PC, than Axi standard account has the nearest trading server in Australia.

Thanks again The axitrader standard account is perfectly fine for your needs and has the Sydney server so quicker response compared to the others accounts that are all NY servers. ECN or otherwise with these 3 brokers doesn't really matter, its more personal preference.

There won't be any manipulation. Just pick one You can't really go wrong with any of these options, they are all good. BTW, sign up through a rebate provider to get some additional cash monthly.

Thanks for the post. You suggest IC Market is better than Pepper? I have both IC Markets and Pepperstone accounts, and don't see big differences. As a matter of fact I trade with different type of EAs on these accounts, so maybe it's not the best comparison. I ran extest on all of my MT4 platforms, and IC and Pepper have nearly the same exec. They also have nearly same spread on the pairs I trade. But back to the original subject.

If you trade manually, and not scalping, it doesn't matter if your broker is ECN or not. If you are a swing trader or other long term trader, than the execution time is not relevant either, so you can choose any broker. Although I would prefer a broker with close trading server.
