Best tier 8 premiums – WoTLabs Articles

So my question is pretty simple - What would be the best Premium tank for money credit making? I would really appreciate your answers! I've heard that people say that good tanks for money making are: I'm looking forward to tanks that are cheap to repair, and the shell cost isn't expensive, and also tanks that are fun to play.

I dont have any t8 premiums so I shouldnt really comment but I would like either the lowe or the fcm50t. Only the french MT would interest me.

RimciksLV, on 21 September - In my opinion the Skorpion G is the best credit grinder. But then again i dont have issues playing tank with 0 armor. FCM 50 t - It can be a good tank, but you HAVE to carry 2 repair kits small one and big one. This tank is extremly sensitive to ammo rack dmg.

So often 1 random shot in your turret or hull can lead to your ammo being damaged. Its like this tank consist of one big huge ammo rack. No idea about Panther.

Dont find it anything special. No armor, average speed, big target, easy to hit: According to vbaddict stats , it's the M4A1 Ravioli. Sort of makes sense, as it's got great alpha and cheap ammo but you have to know how to play a glass cannon that doesn't have particularly good gun handling. I've got one and I don't mind it but I'm not good playing it. Despite its size, the armour doesn't work unless you're at mid-long range and can hide the LFP plus it takes an age to get anywhere because it's so slow.

The gun's accurate with great pen for the tier but the alpha is a bit disappointing. The FCM 50 t is another good tank and decent money maker and while the armour can work, it's not something you can rely on. That said, I've successfully side-scraped against IS-3s in a city battle at least until they twigged that I can't afford to trade with the low alpha. Better if you think of it as a large medium instead of a weak heavy and play accordingly. Fear factor, you won't see leopards rushing you or derpers going the extra mile to pen your 20 mm paper armor.

The special match making and heavy armor ensures that you can get into much more action with a chance of survival. I don't have too many premiums, but out of T26E4, WZ, T mod. Problem is, that it is not available right now. Of the two, I would reccomend T26E4 as it is easier to play, with a far more accurate gun and good APCR compared to WZ's gun handling and pen HEAT ammo. It is a very good tank when top tier as it has enough armor to bully enemy tanks.

With that said, given your battle count and overall winrate, I would suggest getting a lower tier premium tank in order to learn the game before moving into the higher tiers. This will probably lead to less frustration from your side and lower tiers are regarded by many players as more "fun" due to the less campy nature in them. Churchill III and Skoda T40 are both good tanks that should earn you decent amount of credits while getting to know the game better.

I see you do allright in the Pershing. I have never tried it, but T26E4 is supposedly the same tank with far better armor frontally , thus far less mobile. Also, Skoda T40 on paper seems to be a more agile Heavy Tank no. VI that you currently own. I forgot I also have the M4A1 Revalorise, which i have to disagree with Strappster on. I find the Revalorise to be one of worst things in my garage. Sure it has a sweet alpha of It got no armor, bad gun depression, bad mobility.

One would suggest to use it as a sniper-tank, but its mm standard APCR ammo, mm premium HEAT shells combined with not-so-good accuracy leaves much to be desired. Mosjmosh, on 21 September - Actually we're in agreement. I said great alpha and cheap ammo but there ends the list of positives IMO.

I agree with all the points you've listed, you were more comprehensive than me. I was as surprised as anyone to find it topped the list of vbaddict's premium credit earners.

I sorted that list by net credits i. What ever tier8 premium tank you imagine you do the most dmg in without using premium ammo. On paper, Revalorise has the lowest ammo cost per dmg done, but if you can't play it for crap, it won't benefit you one bit. On the other hand, buy any of them and learn to play it.

If you play a tier8 premium tank well, you'll do a lot of credits. I have quite a few prem tanks and the best 2 for grinding credits are the IS3a and the M46 Patton KR.

The Patton KR though, whilst the standard shells are very cheap cr each the tank itself is just crap to play. The skorpion is just flat out better in every aspect bar view range which is moot on most maps nowadays. The IS6 is a good tank which is very fun to play, but the need to use APCR at times hurts its credit income.

ArmouredBin, on 23 September - What's exactly the deal with that people say skorpion has bad viewrange? That's view range. With Coated it's which is more than enough for the blind is3s etc. You can even go ham and use chocolate as fire ext. But aside that, the skorpion makes good credits as it's not a front line brawler.

Plus it's fast enough for cleanups which also give a lot of extra creds. For me its the Spershing. The IS6 is also good but in that tank you actually have to spam some gold.

It got lousy accuracy and really crappy PEN. Big problem in a tank that is going head to heat against other heavies. Spershing is boring to play though so I rather use the FCM if I want credits.

The best premium tier 8 for money making is the one that you find the most fun. If it bores you, then you wont play it and wont make any money. M4A1 Revalorise makes nice credits due to cheap ammo relative to its alpha , Panther 8.

They are all good choices, cant comment on M46 KR or CDC. I would avoid tanks that require premium ammo to be effective for the purpose of money making Super Pershing, IS-6 as well as the IS-3A.

Dont get me wrong i love the IS-3A but as far as money making goes it seems sub par to many of the tier 8 premiums. If you are on a buget: M4A1 Rev, Panther 8. Also, Skorpion G when it comes back on sale since you almost never have to use prem ammo except if you might be long range sniping and want better shell velocity and it just doesnt care about matchmaking. Jigabachi, on 23 September - Skorpion G is back so i guess that answered my question im not a big fan of TD but this one different so ill probably buy it.

Also, it's probably among the worst platoon tanks, but that's only my assumption - I hardly ever platoon anyway. Community Forum Software by IP. Search Advanced Search section: Approve Set Invisible Unapprove Post Hide Unhide Delete Merge Split Move.

Fun is up to you, people have all sorts of different "fun tanks". Strappster 4 Posted 21 September - HugsAndKisses 5 Posted 21 September - I have a handful of tier 8 premiums and out of those, none beat the IS6.

Sure, the shells cost 4 times as much as the CDC's, but: They deal more damage. Sweet crew layout for those OP balanced Soviet heavies. Suurpolskija 10 Posted 23 September - ArmouredBin 11 Posted 23 September - JocMeister 13 Posted 23 September - Jigabachi 15 Posted 23 September - This thread got necro'ed. Skorpion G by far That thing is so OP. TankkiPoju 18 Posted 24 September - Another vote for Skorpion G. It's even pretty fun to play, if you are down with fragile TDs. Edited by TankkiPoju, 24 September - Any of the preferential match making premiums.

Preferential match making beats everything. Shnuks 20 Posted 24 September - Mobile Version Mark Community Read Forums Members Mark all as read. Sign In Email address:
